Lego Junior Training Course (Module 3)

Age Group

• 7-10 years old

Duration

• 1 hour sessions, one per week

What do I need?

• Live Online Training : A laptop, and a stable internet connection. The recommended minimum speed is around 10 Mbps.
• In Class Training : We have equipment in our classroom, although you are welcome to bring your own robot, when we cover those specific parts of the course.
• We will advise you on which robot to buy (@ approx R2500) if you want, but it is not a requirement.

Outcomes

• Use motor blocks to control their bot
• Program their robot to detect and react to colors and sounds
• Control their robot with a remote
• Build a robot that can shoot darts
• Use gears and motors effectively
• Build a brick-sorting robot and a talking robot that executes voice commands

Certification

• A progress report will be issued after each module like this module.
• After 4 modules were completed, and the assessments passed, a Competency Certificate will be issued
